About the Author

 

        Carolina Herrera has experience working with international markets. In Mexico, she assisted developing marketing and communication campaigns for clients including La Morena, Univision, Telcel, and U.M.I., (Universitarios Moviendo Ideas - National student organization supporting Josefina Vázquez Mota, Mexico’s presidential candidate 2012,) among others. After working for two years as an Account Executive in the advertising industry, Carolina decided to pursue her master's degree in the U.S. In 2014, she started her MA in PR at Hofstra University. While she was studying her master's, Carolina had the opportunity to intern for companies and non-profits in New York City including the U.S.- Mexico Chamber of Commerce, Ermenegildo Zegna Group and Mexico Tourism Board. With her experience in these enterprises, Carolina is thrilled to start her PR journey as a professional.

 

          In 2012, Carolina obtained her BA in Advertising and Marketing from Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP). She expects to earn her MA in Public Relation from Hofstra University this year.
